MANDATE

The QCPN has 3 main objectives:

Coordination

Propose a space for coordination of the research efforts across Quebec.

Collaboration

Encourage collaboration and intersectoral sharing (health, society and culture, nature and technology) to unite the driving forces during the crisis.

Expertise

In the longer term, build expertise in preparing and managing pandemics and crisis situations.

The QCPN promotes the implementation of strategies based on the following lines of research:

The QCPN mobilize research and clinical expertise as well as various systemic levers, such as public policies, technologies, ethics or social responsibility, to establish structures allowing to respond to current and future pandemics or crisis.

In this perspective, the QCPN is in contact with almost all of the FRQ-S research networks. As part of his intersectoral mission, he also makes the link with the Fonds de Recherche du Québec - Société et Culture (FRQ-SC) et le Fonds de Recherche du Québec - Nature et Technologie (FRQ-NT).
